^Lot 395 WWII German Issue Star Model B Semi-Automatic Pistol

WWII German Issue Star Model B Semi-Automatic Pistol, #B245591, 9mm cal., 5'' barrel, blued finish, checkered hardwood grips with diamond escutcheons, blade front sight, fixed rear sight with square-notch, and lanyard loop mounted to the left side of the frame. No magazine is included. Pistol is marked with ''(Eagle)/WaA020'' Waffenamt on right rear of the frame tang and ''FPatr08/(Star logo)/STAR/B.ECHEVERRIA/EIBAR-ESPANA/S.A./CAL.9m.m.'' on left side of the slide. Barrel is stamped ''Cal 08(Proof stamp) at the ejection port and there are Spanish proof and inspection stamps on the frame and slide. No visible import marks. Condition overall is very good, retaining approx. 85% blue, showing light scratches, edge wear, and scattered freckles of patina. Grips are very good with an added dark varnish finish, showing moderate handling wear. Action operates smoothly. Bore rates good with darkening that may clean better and good to very good rifling.
